Ramble Round the Everards divisions by Dave Lumley for week ending 23rd September

Everards1 leaders, Anstey Town, made it 5 wins on the spin with a 2-4 away victory at Holwell Sports after scoring 2 goals in each half after a brace from Jordan Small added to by Harry Burton and off the bench Tom Barsby. Holwell tried to get back in the game with goals from Harry Worby and substitute Bailey Purkis, but it was not to be as they fell to their 2nd successive defeat.
Dunton & Broughton United moved into 2nd spot after their 2nd win on the spin, 3-0 over Birstall United Social Reserves. Dunton led 2-0 at half time and scored with a couple from Corey Nelson backed up by Luke Norton.
Leicester Athletico slipped a place with a 3-2 defeat at Sutton Bonington. First half goals from Hassan Omar and Yusuf Osman gave the visitors a 1-2 half time advantage after they looked to get back to winning ways. However, a win last week gave Sutton confidence and goals from Jordan Crosland, Connor Martin and Jack Tormey eased them into the top 6.
The Kirby Muxloe Reserves game was called off at 13.30 as Barrow Town announced their failure to fulfil for the 2nd time this season. This will go to league discipline in due course.
Hinckley LR Reserves posted their 2nd away win of the season, gaining a quick double over Sporting Markfield 2-3. Honours were even 1-1 at the turn round but Hinckley found the extra gear with goals from Josh King, Joe Marriott and Stan Rossell. Sporting scored through Ian Allen and Lewis Williams as they look to get their season going.
Ingles FC Developement kicked off the City Goldsmith Presidents Trophy with a trip to Everards2 Sileby Town Reserves and moved onto the next round after a penalties win, 0-3. Callum Glover and Leon Watson scored a goal in each half for the Town as the score at 90 minutes finished 2-2. Luke Allard and substitute Jake Turner replied for Ingles before they progressed through
In Everards2 The Students earned the Loughborough bragging rights with a comprehensive 0-11 victory over Loughborough at the Drome. The Students maintained their perfect record and comprehensive goal difference of 37 after they sprinted to a 0-5 half time lead as Owen James scored 4, added to by substitute Callum Hamilton (2), and singles from Noah Ingram-Wright, Max Mercadal, Felipe Moya, Hugo Stephenson and substitute Joe Barnes.
St Patricks eased into 2nd place, after a 2-1 defeat of GNG Oadby Town Developement at the Emeralds Centre. The score was level 1-1 at half time with Iwu Finbarr Onyema on target for the visitors as they looked for their 1st win in 3 starts. But Jack Hickey netted a goal in each half to maintain the perfect record for St Patricks after 4 starts.
Mountsorrel Amateurs pulled up into 3rd spot after a 0-2 win at Desford and Caterpillar Reserves. 1st half goals from Kris Atkinson-Hines and Jake Folwell eased their unbeaten run to 3.
Rothely Imps entertained Melton Town Academy and there was little to separate the sides as the score finished 3-3 after turning round at half time 2-2. Ben Aluko, Luke Coleman and Cameron Roberts were on target for Melton as they start to move up the table. Dan Morris, Lennon Stephenson and Dthanial Weston were on target for the Imps who continue to blow hot and cold.
